This sculpture inspired me because of its use of mixed media. I appreciate the added tracing paper, which fills the remaining negative space. I imagine the sculpture hanging in a large entryway. I believe it would be good in a doctor's office as it is calming to look at and abstract (not distracting).

This sculpture inspires me because I enjoy its recognizable design while it also is able to retain its abstractness. It’s clearly a crow, but it also has the distinct look of the wire wrap which creates movement that I want to be able to capture in my piece. I think that this piece would be found in a yard or home as decor, especially for Halloween.

This sculpture inspired me because I want to do something animal related and this sea turtle looks like a great idea. I like how the head of the turtle is designed and the pattern of the shell is also very interesting and cool.

This sculpture inspires me because of its shape, and use of negative and positive space. It is simple but can also have alot of meaning depending on it's location. It also inspires me because of it's use of depth. I imagine this sculpture being in the hands of someone who is holding it like they are taking a photo of the beautiful sky.

This inspires me because it reminds me of a lake, and lakes are calm and quiet when left alone and not disturbed.

This wire fish sculpture inspires me because of its simplicity and creativity. Even though it is only made of wire and mounted on driftwood, it still clearly shows the shape, movement, and patterns of a real fish. I like how the open spaces let me imagine the rest of the details, reminding me that art doesn’t need to be complicated to be meaningful. It shows that with a few simple materials, you can create something that feels alive and connected to nature.

This wire sculpture inspires me to go outside my comfort zone and take something I am usually always comfortable drawing such as flowers, and create that topic in a new form of art with new materials. I am fond of all wildlife and am drawn to creating flowers and nature into my art typically, so I am excited and drawn to experiencing these new materials. In addition, I could picture my final sculpture to be placed and photographed outside someone in a scenic, bright, and organic environment to match the vibe and topic of my nature related art.

This sculpture inspires me by the simplicity of the shape of a mushroom but also the complexity of wire being woven through the mushroom. I would imagine this being at a place of gardening and being between plants and giving a subtle look to the greenery around it. This would be a piece at the Meijer Gardens that would be by colorful plants and moss giving a subtle contrast to the flowers and moss around the sculpture.

I am inspired by this sculpture because it’s very appealing to the eyes. It also reminds me of nature because of the organic and uniqueness of the sculpture. It also reminds me of the tree of life which is a beautiful concept. I can imagine this in a library or a coffee shop because its calming to look at and isn't to much on the eyes, well also blending in.

This sculpture inspires me because of the hanging ability. I have fish at home and love the thought of creating something like this. I imagine this in an aquarium or even on a side table. I would place this on top of my fish tank. The use of wire sizes inspires me to try to use multiple in my sculpture.

This inspires me because the sculpture has so much movement to it. You can almost see how the sculpture would move if it could. The cat seems to have so much personality just by how it stands and looks at the toy. It also is an animal because I want to do something animal like. I could see this being a decorative piece for outside on a porch or yard.

This inspires me because who doesnt love dinosaurs. Dinosaurs represent power, dominance, and resistance, and I think that is very inspiring. I would imagine this on my fireplace in my living room, where everyone could see it, and admire the beauty of the dinosaur.

This sculpture inspired me because of how pleasing it looks and all the ideas I have of things I can do to add onto this idea. I enjoy how it has different types of wire and the different ways they're used, it gives me different ideas for what I can do to personalize this sculpture if I were to create something similar. I think this piece would be good as a type of home decor, it's not something that's overwhelming to look at, and it could be a nice piece to add to a living room or on a desk or shelf.

I think this sculpture could be displayed in a counseling office, or even a bedroom as a sign of feeling free and comfortable within yourself.

The owl sculpture inspired me as owls had been my favorite animal ever since I was really young. I don't know why, I just do. And as I've gotten older, I realized, yeah, they're cool.

And owls can be such beautiful creatures with deep calming hoots. I'm also a solitary person and love evening/night time, just like owls. So, I guess I relate to them in a way.

I think I would place the sculpture on a low hanging branch or on the ground somewhere.

I'm inspired by this sculpture because of my love for wire trees, something about wire tree's is particularly beautiful to me, maybe it's the beauty of a tree without leaves, that it reminds me of all the leafless trees I see on the way to school. Yet despite its lack of leaves it's still so beautiful, I think it would be put somewhere surrounded by trees so that when winter comes, the trees too can show their beauty despite not having leaves.
