We brought toys and fun to kids at Casa de los Nino, which is a shelter facility that cares for abused and abandoned kids. We were the ones totally blessed!!

The OASIS small group helped clean out and organize a storage/play equipment closet at one of the visitation homes. We emptied the closet fixed a shelf and a bike, and bought some new play equipment. We also set up a sand box for the kids

Gospel Rescue Mission- Children’s chapel 11/22

While sitting by a boy during our discussion on “how Jesus loves us” a child says that Jesus shows his love for us by providing miracles. The boy next to me leans over and tells me, “God provided a miracle to me and my family by providing us with this home. Before we came here, we were homeless.” The children continue on to discuss other miracles they’ve seen in their lives and how Jesus loves’ us.

Kids at Gospel Rescue Mission learned about how God created every one of us with unique talents and gifts and how together we are better than alone. The shirts they created were "superhero" t-shirts. Each kid thought of what makes them unique and illustrated it on their t-shirt. So much fun!
