The Carter Center was founded in 1982 by former U.S president Jimmy Carter.
How do we operate?
The Carter center operates by going to different countries and going to lower communities and gets volunteers to help in repairing and helping the community like in health and fight deceases.
Why is our work important?
 In my opinion the Carter Center is important because its a non-
Governmental organization and is also made to restore health and conflict in cities and towns in 80 different countries. The main focus of the Carter Center is to help fight diseases and help restore health and peace between cities in countries.

Then I read and read and got interested in the work itself and so I did my research and I got hooked in and wanted to work on it. I was invested in the organization when it talked about helping people stop illness and prevent deceases and improve health. since I knew some of the background I just felt that it would be the easiest to work with. another reason is because I enjoy to see when people help others and since the Carter Center dose that I felt like i would have fun with it.
