1869
21 years after the Seneca Falls Convention, two women's suffrage organizations were formed. One, the National Women's Suffrage Association (NWSA), was led by Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. The other group, founded by Lucy Stone, Julia Ward Howe and Henry Blackwell, was called the American Woman Suffrage Association (AWSA). The main difference from the two organizations is that the NWSA opposed the passing of the 15th amendment, which gave men the right to regardless of race, while the AWSA supported it. The NWSA felt that the passing of the 15th amendment somehow made women less significant. (Stanton was an avid racist)
Copy and paste this link :/
https://www.amazon.com/U-S-Toy-Alien-Glasses-Sunglasses/dp/B004L83YPK/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=funny+sunglasses&qid=1646075781&sr=8-3

1875
The supreme court case, Minor v. Happersett, the court justices ruled that the US Constitution did not confer the right of suffrage to anyone, and with that rejecting women's suffrage.
Prior to this case, from 1870 to 1875, women activists were attempting to vote in the presidential election. This was also followed by multiple lawsuits that attempted to extend the right to vote to women.
Susan b. Anthony was one of these people who voted in the election.

After, Minor v. Happersett (1875)
After the supreme court case of Minor v. Happersett, suffrage activists were still determined to get voting rights. They wanted congress to pass an amendment that gave them the indisputable right to do so. They started with the states, with political campaigns. These campaigns were extremely successful, and leading up to the 19th amendment, many states already allowed women to vote.
Copy and paste this link <3
https://www.amazon.com/Classic-Magnifying-Glass-Powerful-Magnification/dp/B0013JBPE2

Opposition to the Movement

While support for the women's suffrage movement was widespread, there was also plenty of opposition. For example, brewers and distillers opposed the movement because they thought that women would vote to prohibit alcoholic beverages in the U.S. In similar fashion, businesses that employed children were concerned that women would vote to end child labor. While the majority of the opposition were men, many upper class women felt that politics would tarnish the moral and spiritual authority of women.
Copy and paste this link :)
https://www.amazon.com/WearMe-Pro-Reflective-Trendy-Sunglasses/dp/B072JHS9Q2/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=sunglasses&qid=1646076197&sr=8-9

Ratification

While the 19th amendment was ratified in 1920, there had been two previous proposals to introduce a bill to grant women the right to vote, one in 1887, the other in 1914. The key to gaining the right to vote was an effort to link the women's suffrage movement to patriotism by supporting U.S. participation in WW1. In 1918, then president Woodrow Wilson declared his support of the women's suffrage movement. The amendment was then ratified in 1920.
Copy and paste this link ;)
https://www.space.com/15693-telescopes-beginners-telescope-reviews-buying-guide.html
