Theme of the book

I believe that the them of All the Light We Cannot See is that there is always "light" in the midst of complete destruction, or what can be perceived as something awful such as WW2. Even while the air is awash with morse code brought about by nazi broadcasts, Maurie Laure reads the Nautalis and plays piano recordings for everyone to hear. Furthermore, even while Werner is on duty to monitor the airways for illegal broadcasts, he hears the recordings and does nothing but listen. Maurie Laure is blind as well. Lastly, Werner has a keen interest in radios, which allow for waves on the electromagnetic spectrum other than visible light to be experienced in other aspects of human experience. My first of three quotes that provide evidence for my thematic argument is "open your eyes and see what you can with them before they close forever". This relates to the theme because it deals with the perception (and absence of perception) of light and goodness such as that of the "light" produced by the two main characters. The second quote that backs up the theme I have proposed is "So how, children, does the brain, which lives without a spark of light, build a world for us full of light?". This relates to the theme because it, again, references the perception of light in the absence of it. Such as that of the two main characters in the midst of moral "darkness". My last quote which supports the theme is "really children, all of light is invisible". This references how there is an infinite amount of different wavelengths of light that we can't see, but are just as existent (for lack of a better word) as the light we see every day.
