         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Palazzo Ducale is the main office of the political administration of Martina Franca.<br>It's a very important building in Martina Franca, not just for the fact of the administration but also because it's a very beautiful place to visit, in particular, in the inside, for the frescoes on the walls and on the ceiling.<br>Fun fact: The balcony is a single piece of marble, one of the longest one-piece-balconies in entire Europe.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Basilica of San Martino was built in the second half of the eighteen century on the initiative of Isidoro Chirulli (archpriest).<br>It's an example of the Barocco of Martina Franca. <br>It stands out for the majestically facade:<br>on the center of this facade, there is San Martino(The patron of the city) which is dividing his mantle with a beggar.<br>In the inside, worth of notice are the major altar in polychrome marble of  1773 of neapolitan school.<br>It hosts the relics of Santa Comasia(co-patron).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Martina is a small town in my opinion.<br>Objectively, the points to visit in Martina are all concentrated in the same zone, so you can visit the whole town on foot.<br>But there are  some buses which you can use to move  inside the city.<br>There is just a train station, which you can use to go to the near towns like Locorotondo and to bigger cities like Bari  and Taranto.<br>Another way to move out of Martina is the bus.<br>The nearest airports are in Bari and Brindisi.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>According to the most famous sources, Martina was founded by Filippo D'Angiò in the fourth century.<br>During the fifteen century Martina became an Aragonese feud and in the sixteen century it became duchy of Caracciolo, that in the second half of the seventeen century, with the help of Petracone V provided for the construction of the Palazzo Ducale.<br>In the 1646 the inhabitants<br>of Martina, captained by a by a smith know as "Capo di Ferro"(Iron Boss), they rebelled to the duchy of Caracciolo;<br>The family of Caracciolo kept the feud up to  1827, year of the extinction of the house.<br>In 1799, during republican movements, the city took up  liberals ideas,  until 1861, year of the unity  of Italy.<br><br></div>]]></description>
