My ordinary world is when I am at home with my family. Also at home I do homework and play video games. This is my "status-quo" because this what my ordinary world is like.

2. Call to Adventure

My call to adventure is when I have to pick my classes for middle school during the summer.Also when I have go back to school shopping. This is my call to adventure because this is when I realize that middle school is happening and that I have to go.

3. Meeting the Mentor

My mentor for middle school would be my guidance counselor. I met her the first day of school when my teacher sent to meet her. This is because she wasn't always with me, but when I needed advice she would always help me.

4. Departure - Crossing the Threshold

The "crossing the threshold" for me was when I went to orientation. At orientation they showed us our classes and how the school works. This is my "crossing the threshold" because this symbolized my world changing because now I have to go to school every week day.

5. Trials

During middle school I had various trials. One of them being the SOL's I had to take at the end of the year every year, SOL's are really hard final exams. Another trial would trying to get straight A's this is a trial because it is really hard and it helped me grow as a person. These are my trials because these are struggles that in the end helped me grow.

My approach would be 7th grade when I begin to take high school classes and is when I got into the most trouble. This is when my classes are important and when I get into trouble more than usual. This is my Approach because this is the big inner and outer conflict during my middle school career.

7. Crisis

My crisis is 7th grade when I got Saturday school. I got in trouble in school in which my parents got mad at me. Which makes me realize that this could have gone on my permanent record. This is my crisis because this is when I learn my lesson about school.

My treasure is when I learn my final lesson on how school can affect my future. I learn this through various hardships and struggles. This is my treasure because this is what I gained from my middle school career.

My result is that I was able to complete all of middle school. Also I learned various lessons that will help me through the rest of my educational career. This is my result because this is how my life changed because of middle school.
