The best advice anyone ever gave me is to set a timer for… everything! Lessons, small groups, reminders for specials, work time before/after school. It’s easy to get lost in the never-ending to do list, but prioritize what HAS to be done, set a timer to do it, and then move on. Make sure to take care of you!

Put things on your calendar, and DO them. If you're supposed to go for coffee with a friend, do it. Create your schedule and stick to it. Knowing you have something to do at a specific time, will create a deadline to finish whatever tasks have to be finished. Prioritize, schedule and execute.

A little every day

For some people, completing a little every day works well. For example, you could work on an assignment for 15 minutes a day so that it is completed within a week or two. For me, it is easier to set aside a 1 hour block of time and knock it all out at once. It helps to minimize distractions if you do a big block of time.
