Yeah. It is unconstitutional to place a student in a school simply because of their race. If anything, I find that to be a bit inhuman if anything. My question would be, how could a lottery system be any better?

I would say it definitely has issues as it forces communities to spread apart which is very different from the standard school district.

I agree with the decision that was made by the court. Trying to create a school solely based on race would pose many issues in this day and age. My question is are there other factors that could be used to help place students based on interest and potential specialties in the schools they are being placed in?
