As a skeptic, I know this is impossible and a myth. A huge pseudoscience present in this would be "Mystical Energy", "Proof by Verbosity" & "Confirmation Bias". Spiritualists use the word energy but it has a completely meaning compared to what science defines it as. Proof by verbosity is based on the amount of information you receive to persuade others into believing it is true without researching for yourself. An Emotional Connection can lead a person into going to any extent to achieve this form of happiness. This is an example of Simplicity. People didn't question why or how they just believed it to be true because it was scientifically hard to understand. Pseudoscience is just much more easy. Ancient Wisdom is a key factor as it is hard to prove if their predictions were right or wrong.
