It gives us hope and gives others hope as well. It helps make a better community for all of us. And not just humans, but animals as well, Service helps create a better and more sustainable world and future.

Even though we only get 35 minutes together, we have enough time to try and make the world a better place.

It allows them to feel as if someone cares for then and knows what we need to do to take care of them.  It gives them hope for a better world and helps them understand the value of helping others and how important it is. Service also makes us better people, and allows us to see what the world truly is like in the poorer parts, and what we can do to change it. It lets us see both the positive and negative sides of the world.
