In the 1700s, a young woman who worked as a prostitute sadly had to leave her son. That woman promises to return to him someday and eventually his son stayed with his grandmother for awhile. Growing up, that little boy is famous as Casanova, a womanizer and his story is being represented in theater around the city. The king of the city is kind to him, but his kindness is not eternal for Casanova because the church hates Casanova. The king said he must be married or he will be exiled from the city.

As he searched and searched for a wife, he falls in love with a girl named Francesca. Although he already found a wife and she is not Francesca. Casanova did some research on Francesca. Surprisingly, she writes illegal feminist books. She defined herself as a man, named Bernardo Guardi. Why did she do that? Because during the Renaissance era, women are most likely being symbolized. But again, Francesca’s mother pushed her to marry a rich man who never met her before. Paprizzio is that man. When Paprizzio arrives in Venice, Casanova lies to him and says that the hotel he booked is closed and he persuades him to stay at his house. Casanova also lies and says that his name is Bernardo Guardi. While Paprizzio, preparing to visit Francesca, stays at Casanova's house, Casanova visits Francesca, pretending to be Paprizzio.
