-OCA1. or TYR results from a genetic defect in an enzyme called tyrosinase. This enzyme helps the body to change the amino acid, tyrosine, into pigment. The result of this physically leaves the mice with snow-white skin, as well as hair, and no pigment in their eyes. This makes their eyes (the iris) a pale bluish pinkish color, while the pupil is red.

(Transcription always comes before Translation!)
-Transcription occurs in Cells in the nucleus where DNA is. The DNA is going to be transcribed into a message. In this a enzyme called RNA polymerase will connect complementary RNA bases with the DNA. This in result creates a single stranded mRNA (m=messenger)
Part Two

-The mRNA are able to leave the nucleus into the cytoplasm where in the cytoplasm it attaches into a ribosome. Ribosomes make proteins and are made of rRNA(ribosomal RNA)

(Translation comes after Transcription)
-In the cytoplasm there are tons of tRNA molecules (transfer RNA), the tRNA carry amino acids. Amino acids are what proteins are made from. The mRNA directs which tRNA come in and which amino acid is transfered, this is why the mRNA is called the messenger. The tRNA are looking for complementary bases and when they do they transfer the
amino acids in threes.
Part Two
-Called the Codon (Ex: cac uac aac) the tRNA with the required anticodon lets just say for example "UAC" comes to pair with the complementary AUG codon. This transfers the amino acid the tRNA carries, the tRNA will leave while the amino acid attaches to the other tRNA amino acid with the help of peptide bond . Eventually the cycle will continue until the there is a stop codon. This means the protein building is complete.
