He doesn't care about others suffering. She explains that the summoner lacks religious beliefs and has no spirit. However, he unknowingly travels with the beggars and does not even question the beggar's identity because of his monetary instincts. He portrays himself as this holy man with good values and claims he is collecting for the poor, using his church position, but he really pockets the donations he recieves from people. This is how Frair makes his money. However, the people are blind to this.
