As a Saigonese, I have tasted so many different kinds of food with unique recipes. One of the most remarkable features of Saigon’s food is its diverse flavors. The cuisine in Saigon reflects the mix of Vietnamese traditional regional dishes, influenced by Chinese, French and other Southeast Asian cuisines. Furthermore, there are numerous international restaurants, ranging from French bistros to Japanese sushi bars, making Saigon a melting pot of flavors. Moreover, I am captivated by the bold flavors, freshness, a balance of sweetness, salty and a little spicy factors. Another highlight of it is the coffee culture. To be honest, I am quite a gourmet, and I have experienced many dishes in places that I have been to. Although I have tried so many different flavors, my favorite dish is still Phở-a conventional Vietnamese food. Phở is very crumcious when itself is a combination of many ingredients through many steps of processing. In the beginning, the chief needs to cook a broth for a very long period of time, which includes cow’s bone, beef, cinnamon, ginger, onion and some other simple but equally important spices. After the ingredients have been cooked and their flavors blended into the broth, we pour it into a bowl that is already filled with rice noodles and toppings like beef, beef balls, and tendons. And obviously, the final step is to enjoy it; its appetizing smells will make your mouth water immediately. The chewy rice noodles combined with flavorful broth and tender beef create an amazing experience through many layers of flavors that will make you unable to stop eating. Besides, Phở is also a representative dish of Vietnam; when it has reached the international level, every time anyone mentions pho, it refers to Vietnam. Overall, Phở is my all-time favorite food; you must try this once in your life or you will feel really regret.

Travelling to so many destinations, domestic and international, with so many beautiful places I still choose Đà Lạt city which is known as “The City of a thousand flowers” is my favorite to heal and travel with my family on some occasion. One of the things I give so much love to this city is the weather, living in the tropical climate especially hot and humid in Hồ Chí Minh city, this is the reason why Đà Lạt is my favorite place. Back in 2023, when I was in grade 12, I had a chance to go on a school trip with my class. This trip helped me to get closer to the class, we had so many memories together I will never forget that. Đà Lạt not only famous for picturesque scenery but also food and lovely resident, travelling to “Small Paris” this steamed rice cakes with chicken liver and chicken hot pot with Vietnamese herbs cannot be missed. Living in a normal neighborhood, I have so much love for it, a small but civilized community located outside the city center, with me it’s kind of idea place to live in my country. Developing for over 10 years, it has become more and more modern. Mixing residential houses, factory, central mall, school, park, make it easy to meet daily needs without traveling too far. The streets are covered by trees in on both sides of the road, by planting those trees providing fresh air and creating comfortable feeling when we go outside. The people in my neighborhood are friendly welcoming. Most of them have lived here for a long time, and there’s a strong sense of community. Each year my neighborhood holds a meeting to residents to talk about an important issue that is happening, and we also bring food and share stories. Since there is not much traffic, we don’t worry too much about cars.Most people start sleeping very early so the quiet streets in my neighbourhood are perfect for evening walks.Whenever I'm sad I often go to the park because this is a perfect for relaxing.But the lack of modern amenities and long distances to shops can be inconvenient.
