My name is Gabriela Fernandez-Lens, or Gaby as a nickname. Some of my hobbies are reading, journaling, or I like binge-watching shows. One of my favorite movies is Pride and Prejudice, the 2005 version, and my favorite show at the moment is When I Fly Towards You. Things I do for fun is I like drawing, walking, or just playing around with my dog, and lastly, I really like going to the beach. I don't eat out a lot, but the best restaurant I've been to is either Cheesecake or Outback because they have the best burgers, which is my favorite food. The coolest place I've been to here in Miami is the Frost Museum because of its aquarium and the planetarium.

Future plans

My plans for the future are to get into a good college, and one that suits what I want to study the best. When I grow up, I'm still not sure what I want to be, but I'm deciding between a baby sonographer and an architect. A school I want to go to is FIU or an out-of-state college, preferably in California, because I went there for vacation and really liked it. My dream job is to be an actor or a model, but I don't think it'd be something I'd try to pursue since it's not that realistic.

Something I'm proud of is that a couple of years ago, I saved enough money to buy myself my own MacBook. Something I hope to accomplish in the near future is to start studying more and going over the standard rather than just meeting it. Some of my strengths are that I try to be understanding and talk things out, and I also think that I give good advice, and I'm a good listener. But some of my weaknesses are that I can be stubborn at times and persistent. I think it is important to constantly try to improve because even if you're happy where you are, it's always better to get an upgrade.

A moment that was the most exciting for me was when I visited California. I went last week and was so upset when I had to come back. I haven't traveled much, but it's my favorite place so far because it has so many stores that I liked and everything in general I loved. I also went to three different parks when I was there, and they were all so much fun I couldn't get enough.

Embarrassing

One of the most embarrassing moments that has happened to me was at Skyzone. I was on the trampoline normally and jumped wrong and body slammed into the trampoline in front of everyone. Another time was also when I went to the beach, and the waves were humongous. I had gone in with my friends, and one wave came and took me over, and my hair got all messy, and it was all over my face.

Assignments

The coolest assignment I've done during school was last year during English. The class had a project to write a story, and I did it with my best friend. We ended up writing about our whole friend group, and we made them different archetypes. It was an assignment that we completed quickly cause we had total freedom and could write about anything. I also always liked to do padlets like these cause I think they're really simple and creative.
