Before the war the refugees were able to have freedom and do anything that they like they also go outside on walks at midnight. However, the war resulted in their lives to change by hiding in there houses so they don't get shot. In the text it states "It was great. We could go out at midnight and walk the streets [of Sarajevo] freely, and nothing would ever happen to anybody". This shows that before the war that the refugees wouldn't have to worry about anything. After the war there freedom was taken away from them and had to hide in fear. In the text it states " After the war started, you could not even go out of your house. I had to crawl through my apartment on my hands and knees or risk getting shot". This shows that after the war the refugees had to survive and not get shot. Before the war they lived happily and then after the war they had to hide so they don't get shot.

However, the war resulted in their lives to change by taking children away from families, killing people and putting nothing but destruction to their homes. They were forced under their child will to kill people, and if they said no, they would kill them with no mercy. Children would to crawl through their houses on the floor in order to stay alive. Some even had to sleep in their bathtubs to avoid being killed. According to the text, it states, "Elma: It was great, we could go out at midnight and walk the streets freely, and nothing would ever happen to anyone."

Before the war the refugees were able to live with freedom and their life were full of happiness. However, during the world war, they live their life with the fear of death. According to the article "Children Of War", the author states the interview of some refugees, "It was great, we could go out at midnight and walk the streets freely and nothing would ever happen to anybody..." This evidence indicates that the refugees have a wonderful life before the war, they can play and go wherever they want, there's no shooting or killing. On the other hand, the author states in another paragraph, "After the war, you could not even go out your house. I had to crawl through my apartment on my hands and knees or risk getting shot." This quote reveals that the refugees lost their freedom, it became difficult to walk out their home because they might get shot at anytime. Overall, the war affect the refugees by living in a risky environment. This is how the war affect the children of Bosnia.

We could go out at midnight and walk the streets freely, and nothing would ever happen to anybody." This explains that before the war, all of the refugees were living the best life they could possibly live.

Before the war refugees were able to live with freedom and have a normal happy childhood. To contrast, the war resulted in their lives to change is that they were given orders to be isolated from the outside. According to the text'' It was great. In those days there weren't any problems. You really could enjoy life. It seemed like we had no worries. I had lots of friends and we would all go skiing in the mountains.'' This evidence explains that the Bosnian kids had a normal great childhood that they experience back home before the war. Such as going skiing, have friends, and freedom.

In the text "Children of war" The children of Bosnia were free and able to be happy without concern of being shot or killed before the war. But Once the war broke out everything changed it ruined peoples lives they even had to crawl through their own homes and sleep in the bath tub because it was the safest place in the house to avoid getting shot. A detail from the text states "It was great. We could go out at midnight and walk the
streets [of Sarajevo] freely, and nothing would ever happen to
anybody. We would go skiing every winter and to the seaside every
summer. In those days, there weren't any problems. You really
could enjoy life. It seemed like we had no worries. I evidence shows how good life was for them before the like Elma had said it seem like they had nothing to worry about at all another detail "After the war started, you could not even go out of your
house. I had to crawl through my apartment on my hands and
knees or risk getting shot. I slept in the bathtub for days, because
that was the only place where you were totally safe from . One minute we had
everything, then we had nothing" This detail explains that how much the war affected and turned their life basically upside down to the point that all they really want is to survive the day. In conclusion this is how to war affected the children of bosnia and how much it had destroyed their lives in their country.
