Each class will organize four groups and the work they will have to do, is the following: Group 1: They will go to a market and they will find out the prices and the taxes of ten different food. Group 2: They will go to an apliance store and they will find out the prices, the taxes and the discounts of ten items. Group 3: They will go to a sport shop and they will find out the prices, the taxes and the discount of ten items. Group 4: They will go to a clothes shop and they will find out the prices, the taxes and the discounts of ten items. Each group will upload the results of this work in Euros and in American Dollars. Then, Each group will do an essay comparing the prices, the discounts and the taxes in both countries. It is very important to have the same number of groups (4) in each classroom, the same kind of shops and the same items in order to do the prices comparison between both countries. The spanish groups will upload first their items, so the american groups will research about the same items.
