In 2010, Easton Area School District conducted a scheduling investigation. From the investigation, school leaders believed that changing the schedule for the high school students would ultimately improve students’ academic success.

Beginning in the 2012-2013 school year, Easton Area High School transitioned from a traditional nine period day with 41-minute class periods to a Flexible Schedule with five blocks each 78-minutes in length.
