This is interesting for me because I represent both a local coalition (PCECN) and statewide learning network (HP Voice). I have alwaysfound immense value in our statewide spaces because we are able to learn and lean on others who are doing similar work or wanting todo similar work in their communities. WCFC offers a special space for folks across the state to hear from each other and lead work together.

KCELC has been through a lot of transitions over the past few years, so our connection to more grounded regional coalitions throughoutthe WCFC network has been invaluable.

Additionally, it's been incredibly valuable to hear about what the network is doing at the state-level, to help inform and guide our work at the regional level. I think it would be helpful to have more opportunities to meet with otherregional leads and co-leads to learn about their practices in facilitating meetings, outreach strategies, and ways of implementing equitypractices.

What We Gain from the Network • Stronger Together: The statewide network amplifies our advocacy efforts by uniting regions to form apowerful collective voice. This shared voice is more effective in influencing policies that support early childhood education and care.

•Resource Sharing and Collaboration: Being part of the network allows us to access a wealth of resources, knowledge, and best practicesfrom across the state. This collective learning strengthens our local initiatives and helps us implement more effective programs. What we Need from the Network • Advocacy Guidance: Continued support in advocacy efforts, including practical guidance on engaging with policymakers and opportunities to participate in statewide campaigns. • Capacity Building: We need opportunities to learn new skills andimprove our work, such as grant writing.

From a regional perspective the value of the statewide network is its ability to amplify local voices ensuring that the unique needs andchallenges of our rural area/regional are represented in state-level policy discussions and strengthening advocacy efforts. As well as our ability to share and access resources, tools, and funding that we as a region may not have independently.

I think the coalition voice is essential and I think the structure of the coalitions and the state office works well. Our challenge is funding (a common theme). We struggle with a large region, limited funding capacity and reasonable, impactful deliverables. I love learning from other regions and from the state office.
