This island no longer exists and doesn't have its own personal consequences but it shows what could happen across the world in a short amount of time. With scientists predictions, we can estimate by 2100 that the land loss around the world would add up to the size of California. Since many island communities have recognized the dangers of continuing to pollute many of them are advocating heavily to the stop of carbon emissions.  A large scale example of emissions destroying islands is by looking at Greenland's ice melt, which Greenland is on is shrinking very quickly. 

2) If all islands disappear, where would the things that would be deposited on them go?

3)In the Gulf of Mexico, humans have made many agricultural minerals float down the Mississippi River.
