Teenage pregnancy is one of the problems the country, Philippines is facing now days. The victims of teenage pregnancy are the girl herself, her child, her parents and relatives, and the national society as a whole.Lack of parental guidance is the first and one of the main reasons because most people evade their children from talking about sex. In some cases, they provide false information regarding sex and discourage their children to participate in any informative discussion about sex. Some teenage mothers are not well educated about sex before getting pregnant and thus lead to lack of communication between the parents and the children.

The Causes of Teenage pregnancy are this 
-Lack of information about sexual and reproductive health and rights
-Inadequate access to services tailored to young people
-Family, community and social pressure to marry 
-Sexual violence
-Child, early and forced marriage, which can be both a cause and a consequence 
-Lack of education or school drop-out

According to the survey of United Nations Population Fund on 2011, Philippines got the highest rank among the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) who has the highest rate of teenage pregnancy. The increasing number of teenage pregnancy could derail the country’s Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) claimed by United Nation Population Fund Agency (UNPFA) representative Ugochi Daniels

Teenage Pregnancy is a bad thing for ypung one so therefore the increasing rate of a pregnant teen should be stop because of its negative effect.
