The Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park is located in the north of Huesca, a province in Aragon.
WHAT TO DO:
The most recommended thing to do is to admire the incredible views from many places, for example from the top of an ash tree, walking through the highest mountains, hiking, diving in the deep lakes, or enjoying the most beautiful waterfalls after a long walk.
In this park you have a different activities, some are easier than others.

In this Park are a lot of animals:
The chamois and the roe deer are beautiful animals but not as adorable as the deer and the marten. However, the squirrel and the common dormouse are the smallest mammals in this vall
These small animals are curious and the most elusive. These are:
Pyrenean newt, Pyrenean frog, and common toad.
Most amphibians are smaller than the mammals.

PLANTS:
In some prime areas, you can see the most robust trees, such as linden, ash, and maple.

The Aiguas Tortas are very tall. People say these rocks are very special because they look like a big puzzle that nature made. Some of the rocks are so big, they look like they touch the sky! You can walk around them and see lots of trees, flowers, and sometimes even animals like birds and squirrels. It's a great place to explore and see all the cool shapes that the rocks make.

The Lake of San Mauricio is a big, beautiful pond. It’s surrounded by trees and mountains, and the water is very shiny. When the sun is up, it makes the lake sparkle, almost like it's filled with diamonds! People like to walk around the lake, and some even take little boats to float on the water. There are lots of fish in the lake, and sometimes you can even see them jumping up and splashing. The place is very peaceful, and you can hear the birds singing and see butterflies flying around. It’s a perfect place for a picnic or just to have fun with your family. You might even see some friendly people having fun together!

So, the Aiguas Tortas and the Lake of San Mauricio are both amazing places where you can see nature's wonders, have adventures, and feel happy.

The Tablas de Daimiel National Park is a natural area located in the center of La Mancha, in the province of Ciudad Real, between the municipalities of Daimiel and Villarrubia de los Ojos.

Las Tablas de Daimiel are considered a Wetland of International Importance, one of the best wetlands in Europe and North Africa.

It is curious that in one of the flattest and driest regions of the Peninsula, there is an area of tables and puddles, extraordinary and unique to its origin and location. However, Las Tablas has changed a lot in recent times, and its future is in danger, primarily by overexploitation of its water.

The animals that live here include:

- Waterfowl such as the mallard, the red-crested pochard, the flamingo, and the heron. The red-crested pochard is the most characteristic animal of this natural park.

- Fish such as barbel, carp, and pike

- Land mammals such as wild boar, fox, otter, weasel, rabbit and dormouse, as well as many

Its vegetation consists of a wide variety of aquatic plants, such as bulrush, reed, and yellow iris, as well as some special plants such as the Tablas de Daimiel papyrus, which is the most characteristic plant of the wetlands of the Iberian Peninsula. It grows along the edges of the rivers and streams that cross the wetland.

There are also plants native to wetlands, such as the purple loosestrife and the marshmallow.

You can do these activities: guided vehicle tours, birdwatching, hiking, environmental education, etc.

You can also visit the "Molino de Molemocho" Visitor Center, which is an old hydraulic mill, like so many others that once took advantage of the abundant water flow to grind grain. The mill is accessed via a pleasant walk of approximately 400 meters.

Las Tablas de Daimiel is a wetland smaller than Doñana.

Las Tablas de Daimiel is the most beautiful natural park in Castilla-La Mancha.

Come and discover it!!
