The rebellion was led by Nathaniel Bacon because of Berkeley's fail to address the demands of the colonists regarding their safety. Bacon's Rebellion was important to the formation of the U.S.  because it started to make distinctions between white and black inhabitants.</div>]]></description>

Many settlers left to go get supplies, and the ones who were left behind suffered a lot of illness and disease. Many of them were in constant fear of being attacked by the Algonquian Tribe. Jamestown was important to the formation of the U.S. because it was the first permanent colony in North America. It was also the capital of Virginia for over 80 years. </div>]]></description>

People didn't like that King James was Catholic which is why his Protestant daughter took his place. This event changed how England was governed, giving Parliament more power over the monarchy. Glorious Revolution was important to the formation of the U.S. because when the news of the revolution reached Americans, several uprisings in America followed. </div>]]></description>
