Drinking
Legal drinking age is 21 years old, but people 18-20 can drink if accompanied by a parent, spouse, or legal guardian.
You will be fined $100 or more.

Possession of Pills 
Charged with 5 years with or without hard labor, fined at least $500.
Distribution is a felony.
License can be revoked
Ineligible for military

Possession of Weed
Being in possession of weed for a first offense can lead to $500 fine and 6 months in jail.
2nd offense- $2,500 fine with 5 years in jail 
3rd offense- $5,000 fine with up to 20 years in jail.
Second and Third offense are felonies.

Gun Laws
Must be 17 to possess a firearm.
If a minor could be fined or placed on probation. Or imprisoned with or without hard labor.

Murder Law
Offender can be penalized with death or life in prison
No benefit of parole

Negligent Homicide
5 years in prison with hardlabor.
