I like this quote because I agree with what it says about friend. I think that a friend should be a good listener. Listen to other people's thoughts, knowing what they are saying, but not to comment on what they say.

In the video, Nouwen said what make who you are is not what you have, what you do, and what other people think about you, but you are the beloved child. I resonated with this because I was attracted to the word "beloved". And this also related to one question we discussed in class: " what is God calling me to do or be?" The answer is, be yourself and do something good to other people.
