I want to utilise magazines and research these through time since early 2000's to see how the columns and articles in these influenced beauty standards on women and also how certain magazines would critise women in public eye. For my project want to look at how can use fabrics such as lace for print making and also how can use tulle and silk in my outcome and potential to print designs or patterns onto these. 

In my project I aim to create a short film. In it I will delve into the perspectives of various Black British Artists and their exploration of identity, culture and protest. I chose this because it relates to some of my other projects and is easier for me to talk about than a topic I'm not as well versed in. I will display different mediums of art, showing 2D art, photography and film, explaining the meaning behind their works, as well as the intent of their overall messaging and how that relates to the issues of their time. I may include excerpts from interviews they've done, giving more insight into their perspectives, and I'll compare and contrast these different perspectives to highlight the various conclusions each artist has reached. For art that I've seen personally, footage I've taken of it will be displayed in the video, using a variety of different shots.
