Played through all major scales with the met and marked the tempo I was at and kept increasing the tempo until I couldn't play it clean anymore. 
Broke scale practice into 5 minute intervals for 2-3 scales. I picked Ab Major (double octave) and A Major (double octave) this week to focus on everyday to increase my tempo. 
Went over jury piece and focused on correct rhythms. In measure 71 went over the grace note. My tempos on all my scales did improve this semester which was good. I incorporated a couple new tonguing exercises with them and started to double tongue on a couple but it still needs more work overall.

2. I focused a lot on long tones at the start of my warm ups this semester and I would notice a significant difference when I did them for a long time. This year playing in the upper register was easier than last semester which I am happy about. When playing in the upper register I've begun pay more attention to the position of my tongue and the speed of my air and it has helped a lot.

3. I had a hard time playing all the way through the eighth note rhythms to the triplet rhythms. I also needed to relearn a rhythm towards the end on section m. I was playing the 8/16th notes as triplets. We also went over taking bigger breaths at beginnings of phrases and adjusting tongue placement when playing in the higher register. The goal is to focus more on my breath control and speed of the air when playing in order to hit the higher notes every time.
