         <description><![CDATA[<div>The most common type of pathogen that causes Bacterial Vaginosis is Gardnerella Vaginalis. It is a gram-positive, anaerobic bacterium.  This bacterium is normally apart of the vaginal flora but overgrowth of this the cause of BV. Although Gardnerella Vaginalis is the main cause of BV, it is not the soul cause. Other bacterias such as Lactobacillus, Bactericides, Peptostreptococcus, Fusobacterium, Eubacterium are also causes of BV. </div>]]></description>

They might also test your pH levels as well, by placing a pH strip inside of the vagina. It is best you get tested if you have the symptoms or you have had a partner who has tested positive for BV. </div>]]></description>
