I believe that rescuers will eventually reach the island before jack has the chance to kill his pig causing him to completely turn vicious and his mind killing is a goal so he will end up killing whatever he can get his hands on due to, jack already coming to his savage state of being, just because he can't catch a simple pig. Everything for him is pig pig pig and if this keeps on slowly driving him crazy and continues, savagery will come earlier than expected causing no rescuers to come in the first place having him kill and not care about the consequences.
