Back then, people had a lot more extra money to spend. People were going out and buying a lot more things and goods like: Clothes that were ready to wear, home decor such as radios and electric refrigerators and etc. The style of clothing changed many more womens styles. Flappers were a thing for women back then. It was a women who had short skirts and drank, smoked and these things lead to them being “Un-Lady-Like”. But not all women were like this. Women were being noticed in a more political way. The 19th Amendment was introduced then and it gave women the rights to vote.

I’ve found vocabulary words such as: Flappers (women who didn’t act like other women or she enjoyed herself more), Harlem Renaissance (The period of which African Americans were making achievements in Music and Art cultures), Nativist (A person, usually a philosopher who subscribes to Nativitism). Those were some of the vocabulary words that i found interesting.
