Globalisation has resulted in a phenomenon where technological advancement, together with cheaper modes of transportation has made it easier for terrorists to carry out their operatives. i.e transnational crimes to facilitate Terrorist Financing activities. Transnational crime such as illicit drugs and contraband cigarette trafficking in regions of high consumption (developing countries) can aid in the proliferation of weapons by terrorist groups.
