I plan to instruct my first grade students to create posters, just like in Ms. Molly's class, that represent their families. Students will share their posters and we will put them up on the classroom wall to show how diverse families can be. Some students may have a family like Tango's or Heather's, and children need to recognize that no matter what a family looks like, a family is still a family.
