The Festival considers for selection feature films from Asia, Europe and Middle East countries. Since 2009, the event, which takes place in the autumn months at the Antalya Cultural Center (Antalya Kültür Merkezi, AKM), has been organised solely by the Antalya Foundation for Culture and Arts (Antalya Kültür Sanat Vakfı, AKSAV) and has included an international section within the main body of the festival.

Films completed during the 12 months preceding the starting date of the Festival.
Films that will have their Turkish premiers at the Festival.
Films selected for the Festival Program cannot be screened online to the public on any digital platform within or outside the borders of the country (Turkey) before their official screening in the International Antalya Film Festival.
The programmer’s team, under the authority of the Artistic Director, selects and invites the films to be presented in the Festival’s International Competition section, as well as in other non-competitive Festival sections.

The Carnival progession is estimated to gatheran impressive crowd;clubs ,associations,schools ,kids and families who will meet for the opening ceremony at the city’s Central Park-ironically two decades ago a huge ornge garden in the middle of the town.
Colorful suits,hats and cosutmes,,dragons and witches,mot importantly lotf of happy faces will populate the streets.in the carnival there is also musicians,dancers,photographers,panters and  to make more enjoyablel the carnival.Also the another part about the carnival;you can wear and you can bring wahatever  you want No Limit!

Along with ‘The Best Cherry’ competitions, various competitions of folk music and dance forms are held all over the city as a part of festival celebrations. People also gather on the streets to enjoy music and dance parades.

The festival is celebrating since 1961.Also sometimes some members can come to this festival from Eorope.İn this days 1-2 celebrities make concer and make festival more enjoyable.
İn the past this festival was celebrating named Cümbüş.And it was celebrating 4 days.After years they say by ‘National cherry festival’.
