Part      One of my words was letter. I chose the word letter because the book is based in a girl named Miranda who kept getting mysterious notes, a life threatening noted against another student that went to her school. One of my words was save. I chose the word save because that’s what the mission she went on was to save the student’s life. One of my words was friend, I chose the word friend because she set off to find the writer of the notes, and sometimes most people wouldn’t do that for a stranger! One of my words was curious, I chose the word curious because I was curious to know why the writer of the letters would write something like those things that they had wrote and who was the writer.

      I decided to choose the word late. I chose the word late because Miranda sure didn’t want to be late from stopping the mysterious writer from committing a crime (murder). Another one of my words was reach. Reach was one of my words because Miranda set off on a mission to REACH the writer so he could answer her questions. I went with the word strange. I went with the word strange because I thought it was very strange by how the writers letters were wrote.

     When You Reach Me is a book of mystery! Written by Rebecca Stead. In the story, I was always on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next! When You Reach Me is about a girl named Miranda who was mysteriously getting notes about someone was going to die. So, she set off on a mission to find the writer. But she can’t tell anyone, not even her best friend Sal!

      In the story Miranda’s mom got a postcard. On the postcard, it said “Congratulations!” Turns out her mom had been invited to be a contestant on the 20,000$ pyramid. Soon after that she had received the first letter. It said,” M, this is hard. Harder than I expected, even with your help. But I have been practicing, and my preparations go well. I am coming to save your friend’s life, and my own. I ask for two favors. First, you must write me a letter. Second, please remember to mention the location of you house key. The trip is a difficult on. I will not be myself when I reach you.” Of course, her mom had the same reaction u think she did. She took the morning off and changed the locks. Throughout the book she receives letters like that, letters that would make you read over it twice! But in the end her mom played the 20,000$ pyramid and won 10,000$, she also found the writer, it was Marcus! That’s my review of When You Reach Me
