Previously to media I have never used a blog site before so this was something that I had to pick up quick as this is where the bulk of our course work will be so what I have learnt is how to add, edit and publish blogs. embed, editing text and insert multimedia in to my blogs for my visual aspects of the blog. so overall this has helped me to bring the most out of my work by letting me do what I want and doesn't restrict me as much as if I was doing it by email, etc. also with the use of blogger it has allowed me to easily do work in and out of school which means that I can also keep track of what I have and haven't done in terms of my work, because me, my peers and my teachers can look at my blog site to see if I'm going along the right lines or if I'm just steering the completely wrong way as they can easily comment on my work or send me an email via google plus. so overall the use of blogger has helped me to learn how to display my work easily for people to keep track of it and myself and was probably the easiest I can think of to post my work on via the internet because of the accessibility and difficulty.

Editing

Editing was probably the most difficult and most frustrating of everything I have learnt as most of the other things are straight forward whereas with using adobe premiere pro I have had to learn the whole software. so the things that I have learnt is vast from inserting videos in to the software, cutting videos down, adding transitions, adding sound,adding titles, editing the quality and changing the software settings. so from this task I think I have learnt the most from this technology just because I have never used it before.

Mixcraft

Mix craft was the most fun and experimental software that I have never used before since this task so I have learnt an awful lot of different skills from this software. I have learnt how to editing sound by increasing or decreasing sound, reducing the cycle of the sounds and also having the sound meter on the sound clip. also I have learnt how to make a horror sounding background noise for our thriller which was great. however I lacked in being able to synch the sound up with the video which was a shame. however if I were to do it again I would know what to do and could spend more time in lining the sound up with the video itself.

I have used YouTube before so I knew how to put our film up which is by going onto your account and inserting the video and then adding different narrative features to tell people what the video is about. also I knew how to navigate around YouTube so this has allowed me to easily be able to embed videos into my power points and blogger by using the embed code that every video has. also YouTube was a great resource in letting our group to some product research into the existing product that are already out there as there is many different clips and videos and we were allowed to use them due to the embed code.

Go-Pro

The go-pro was a great tool to have used in our film to capture the essence of

someone running by having the point of view shot of Daniel running away from the antagonist. I have learnt about how to use the go-pro properly by having it on your forehead and running and it’s the simplest thing to record with as it’s a click of a button.

Camera

As I have previously used a camera for taking pictures socially and using the camera in the preliminary task when it came to using the camera I was just a sense of making sure that the camera was still to ensure that the focus was on the actors to make the video look more appealing and professional. so with this previous knowledge I was about to experiment and use different camera angles in out films such as high, low angle shots, long, mid, close up shots. to make sure that our films tries to hit the criteria.

The way that I have used slide share is so that I could convert so of my PowerPoint presentations for some of my coursework into an embed code so that I could use that PowerPoint on my blog site. so I have had to sign up and learnt to insert the file I want and publish the PowerPoint in order to get the embed code that I needed to use on my blog site.
