First of all, my employer had told me that the important thing of working there is to make sure things going smoothly and tend to do work faster to because they usually tend to have many costumer especially during breakfast time. For more details, Kedai Makan Iqbal Darwish were a restaurant that provided a dishes only for breakfast and lunch, and their most regular costumer were consisting of an officer around their restaurant, most of them were bank officer because it were close to Bank Rakyat, BSN, CIMB and Hong Leong Bank around. So my first work is to arrange all the dishes in their neat position using a tray and prepared some Lontong and Soto. For preparing the Soto and Lontong, I need to cut Nasi Himpit , cut hard boiled egg into two, put onion spring, peanut and chicken in each bowl. Next, i will arrange Nasi Lemak Bungkus and divided them to each table. After that im told to make sure our shop requirements are adequate such as Polystrene, straw, plastic spoon and garnish, plastic bag for wrapping up our dishes and tissue are all enough and in a neat condition. our priority is to serve our food and restaurants to be so systematic and so clean. Thats why i have to make sure there is no dusty things and make sure that floor is always clean.

To get thing to be doing right, i keep up asking my other workmate. My work as a waiter, i need to serve food for customer , serve drinks to them and fulling what they needs. Another thing to be done is i need to wash the dishes at the kitchen, helping chef to prepared for cooking like peeling onions and chillies. I need to help preparing for lunch too like exchange breakfast dishes for lunch on 11 o'clock. To make them satisfied is our priority, so we need to sweep if there were dirty spot on the floor and need to make sure there were no flies flying around the food. On my third day working, my employer ask me to memorised the menu and the price for each of them to make sure i can manage the restaurants smoothly. So i can start counting the amount of price for each payment. Once our customer eat, i'll calculate the total and write them in a bill so they can pay to the counter. Igot to memorised also each price of different kind of fish on the dishes everyday. At first, my manager had to make decision to close restaurant but ive got an idea and tell my manager to make free drinks for one day so them all can have free drinks without complain. As for the drinks are free, we just provided hot coffea and tea, sunquick ice and plain water. The main important of the restaurants is to fully people satisfication on taste in every dishes, the one who take this responsibilities is my boss as he is the main chef of the restaurant. He is VERY careful about the taste of the food and always make sure his got satisfied. Theres a variety food. Usually, by 11o'clock I have to clean up the breakfast tray and replaced them for lunch dishes.
