-In my original revision, I forgot to add my third citation that I wanted to use in my problem and solution essay, so I ended up adding that into my revision. A big aspect that helped my writing was getting peer feedback on my writing and meeting in office hours with the professor. In various assignments, I lost small points. I forgot to add things like multimodals in my personal bio assignment or citations within that were required in the proposal assignment. Another aspect of my proposal that was the most helpful was being able to dial in my topic. Before, my topic was very broad and could have had multiple outcomes, but in the end, I narrowed down my topic to the discussion of middle children and the emotional effects that take place. I was told I needed to cite more sources to prove my research on the topic, which overall helped me to have a stronger problem and solution essay. 

Which aspect proved the least helpful, or the least accurate? (Say, an idea you

never followed, a source that wasn’t valuable, etc.)

-The aspect that was the least helpful was finding research papers that supported my topic on being a middle child. I tried to use a source called birth order and familial sentiment… but the findings didn’t connect to my essay. I found this very frustrating because there was a lot of valuable data within the research paper that I couldn't use.

Was your lens sufficiently narrow, and/or how did you narrow your topic for any of our following writing (P&S, discussion posts, etc)?

-My lens was very broad at the start of my writing. Especially in my problem and solution essay, I found my writing to be broad. I had to use cited evidence to narrow down my topic and discuss my cited sources more throughout my writing.  Even though it was difficult for me to go clean up my writing as I found a lot more areas of broad information. Back through my writing and find places to add citations and take out information that my peers saw as repetitive or redundant.
