Learning Log — September 10th

Today, I started exploring the basics of Chan Theory (缠论), a unique Chinese trading framework that focuses on price structure rather than indicators.

I tried to mark out the most basic strokes (笔) and started learning how to recognize the fractal structure of trends. At first, I kept getting confused between segments (段) and central zones (中枢), but after watching a few visual explanations and testing it on lower timeframes, I’m slowly seeing how the logic unfolds.

This approach is very different from indicators — it’s more about “reading” the market behavior in real time. I still need to work on how to clearly define a trend pivot and when a structure breaks, but this is a good first step.

I’ll keep building my understanding step by step. One insight at a time.
