They have to live in the shadows afraid of anything and everything. I can’t imagine not being able to speak about my childhood and where I was originally from because I was afraid of being deported to a country I hardly know anything about. A place that I don’t speak or write in the same language. I didn’t realize how many people’s dreams were crushed when Trump turned his back on the people working so hard to make a life for themselves. I now realize that illegal immigrants have it a lot harder than I first thought.

My standpoint on the issue is that the DACA program should continue to offer citizenship and other benefits such as the ability to get a drivers license.
