This song relates to the genre of the book because in the Incredibles the family stuck together an also trusted each other with everything they did. Just like in my book I am reading now the family were trusting each other and putting the cousins to the test of being able to trust each other and love each other.

I would recommend this book to anybody. I would recommend this book to anybody because mainly about this book it was about trust and loyalty to your family. The cousin's had to find boat but in order to get that done they had to trust each other that they will get the job done. Anybody would want to build trust with anybody and have a good bond with them. I would recommend this book to reader's that like reading about family trips and friendships. I would recommend this book to them so then they could build a better bond with their families and friends and also trust them.

3 quotes that stuck out to you (including page numbers), each with an explanation of why it is important or what you liked about it.

1."We have to do it on our own. Prove we're worthy of the Callahan name." (page.135) what I had liked about this quote was that they are doing something on their own without any help. What else I like about they are proving people wrong about their last night and showing them the real meaning of their name.

2."Gee winked at them and they all smiled back."But girls, most of all, be good friends to one another. Cousins last forever."(Page 17)
This quote is important because this is the meaning of the book and exactly what the cousins had did. The cousins became so close to another they gained more trust each other, loved each other, and had fun with each other while doing things.

3."Now I don't want you to think I'm kicking you out. I'd love for you to stay in here , but I think it might be a fun project for you all."(page 246) The meaning of this quote was the importance of this whole book because the kids had to find a boat, sail it , and fix it if anything happened to it . They did everything they needed to just in a different way Neeve had all the ideas to create a boat of their own and ride it around the Island. They was cousins forever no matter what happened to them because they did have arguments but no matter what that had never stopped them from loving each other.

An image of the cover that you like best (some books have more than one cover) with a 1-2 sentence response to the cover. What does it represent or mean in conjunction with the rest of the book?

A image of the book was a sailing boat since they were sailing to their grandparents houses in Gull island. In the rest of the book the cover is the most important thing about the book because the cousin's had to build a boat and sail it that was the part of the game they had to play at their grandparents house.

A 1-2 paragraph response to the book that considersWhat did you like and/or dislike about the book?Which parts of the plot (characters, setting, conflict, etc) were most interesting/why?What connections did you have with the book? What can you compare it to? What did it remind you of? In what ways was/wasn’t it relatable?

One thing I had liked about this book was that they were cousins that had spent the whole summer together without their parents. The point of this was so then they can get to know each other more and their grandmother Gee more. One thing I had disliked about this book was that the book didn't really relate to me in no way. This book didn't really have that much information of what made them take the trip to their grandmother house . When the cousins had started to play the game and had to find any boat was the most interesting part to me. That was the most interesting part to me because they found a way to communicate with each other and have fun with each other without being stressed out. The connection I have with this book is one time I had went out with my friends without parents . We had went to sky zone and we had played games were we all had to work together. The point of the game was to get to know each other and we had accomplished that goal by eliminating everybody in dodge ball. It was relatable to me because we both had to work together to get to know each other.

A 1-2 paragraph that does not give away the ending

During this story there were three girls named Phoebe, Neeve , and Kate. These three girls were all cousins that had parents that had split up. So during one summer they had all went to Gull island where their grandmother Gee had stayed. This were the first summer that the Callahan cousin's had spent without their parents . While during this book grandmother Gee had considered a game that the cousins could play over the summer. The main character Hillary was unhappy that the parents had split up an they had spend the summer without them. So they played the game to cheer her up, the obstacles of the game was the girls Kate, Neeve, and Phoebe had to do was find a boat and equip it so they can learn how to sail it.
