The ability to OVERCOME temptation is through the WORD only.

Samson had strength but he could not overcome temptation with it, and Solomon could not overcome temptation with his wisdom, authority and riches, either (1kgs 11:4-13).

We can only overcome with God’s Word. It was with ‘the Word’ that Jesus overcame Satan’s temptation(Mt 4:8-11).

One particular quote that JYJN shared that moved my heart and made me reflect on my passion for God's work was "If the disciples and the martyrs were alive today, this work would already be finished". This made me think a lot about my passion and hope for God's kingdom, and realise that my effort truly is not effort at all in comparison to the martyrs and disciples. Even though the blessing that I receive is greater than anyone one of those that came before me, so at this time the problem is not environment but my heart. I must overcome and uproot the mindset of Satan and become someone who runs with all of my strength!
