This year we would like a gift basket per grade to auction off the night of the event. Each grade will have a different theme and we would like you to contact the parents of your class and ask them to donate an item matching the theme. Our goal is to get at least 20 items per basket and a Celebrate the Night committee will put together the baskets once all items are received. We need all items by March 31st so a Gala committee will have time to prepare the baskets.

There will still be an art project done by each class for the auction.

Below are the themes for each grade:
Pre-K: Disney (can include anything Disney from coloring books, action figures, stuffed animals, to dress up or gift cards)

Kindergarten: Arts & Crafts (can include craft sets, stickers, stencils, crayola kits etc.)

First: S'mores and More (this one will be presented in a fire pit which can be donated by a parent or put in for by several parents. We are looking for marshmallows, chocolate, s'mores skewers, fire wood, graham crackers, folding chairs)

Second: Family Game Night (can include a variety of board games for many ages, pizza gift cards, popcorn, snacks, candy, cards, poker chips, horse shoes, darts etc.)

Third: LSU/Saints (can include shirts, footballs, tickets to a game if a parent has them, really anything Saints or LSU)

Fourth: Sun and Sand (this one we would like to present in an ice chest and can include volleyball, rafts, pool toys, goggles, snorkel set, canopy, beach towels, sun block, chairs, umbrella, etc.)

Fifth: Wine and Dine (can include of course wine, wine glasses, gift cards to restaurants, cook book, wine opening set, wine rack, etc.) NO alcohol can sent to school. Please see Charleen for drop off locations.

Make sure you have charged your phone before leaving for the Gala.   Ipads will be available at each Board if you are unable to use your phone for bidding.   Once you place your bid online you will get a message notifying you if you have been outbid.

To increase your chances of winning set your maximum bids before the night of the auction.  Maximum bids can also be set at any time during the auction.  Setting Maximum bids will increase your chances of being the winning bidder.

  You will receive a message at the end of the night if you are the winning bidder.  You can check “My Items” at the auction after the board has closed.   Winning bidders will also be scrolled on a screen the night of the event.
