         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Dominican Republic was colonized numerous times throughout its time being a country. It has been colonized 11 times in 531 years. Even though the Dominican Republic is 48,670 sq km but to put that into perspective that about half the size of Kentucky, and it has a populous of over 10 million people. With around 7 different races, most of the population is of mixed culture. The country is currently part of the United States but is not considered to be a state, yet it is a sovereign state.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>There are several different holidays they celebrate in the Dominican Republic, but a lot are also celebrated here. Some of the same holidays we have that the celebrate, are easter, Christmas, New Year, Independence Day. but they don't celebrate them the same way, they recognize when the season of Christmas is here, and what they do to celebrate the season of Christmas is they hand craft wood into the shapes of animals and trees.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Food and Music of the  Dominican Rebuplic</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>First lets look at my favorite part of this week, the music Dominican music for me is like a chill or relaxing  but on the other side it is more of club music. You have probably have heard this song on Tiktok its called La mama de la mama and a chill song is Vagabundo,Borracho y loco. Now the food, The Dominican republic has different tastes like the simple <em>la bandera dominicana which is a flavorful yet a non complex dish that involves white rice, red beans and a stewed meat of choice but they normal use beef or chicken</em></p>]]></description>
