COLA numbers have been updated:
2022-23 was 2.48%, but has changed to 5.35%
2023-2024 was 3.11%, but now 3.5% in (higher than expected)

Next Bargaining Date: December 10 
-8 outstanding articles to negotiate
-District is reducing their workload and putting more onto us
-District can afford 12.5% over 3 years
-Budgets overproject costs
-District continues to listen to CBO, even though we are proving to them the numbers
-We don't know if Fiscal Services saw errors in the district's books, nothing has been shared with us. MDEA did meet with them for 60 minutes to express our concerns.
-First interim report published last Friday, several numbers have changed, like them using a very overlarge number for the cost of a 1% increase and the cost of increase for step/column.
-Our CBO always overprojects costs and underprojects revenues, which means we cannot get raises and District Office is running barebones.   Their actions are hurting our employees morale and ability to retain highly qualified teachers.
-Last year's final numbers: $41 million balance projected for last year, but actual balance was $89 million
-If CBO is let go, shouldn't slow down bargaining.  School Services has advised the District on their budget, don't need CBO.

Looking for people who have submitted credits in the last 3 years and moved up a level AND knows that they did not have to get approval in advance of taking the courses.
