We learned about naming and identifying different compounds this week. We also had a pre-test that I enjoyed taking. It was hard for me to focus since it was online (I miss f2f classes huhu) but nonetheless, I still enjoyed this week's lecture. Thank you Ma'am!! <3

Week 3

We had an activity in naming compounds and writing their formulas which I found a little bit difficult since I haven't quite mastered last week's lesson. My score isn't to bad though, which I'm happy about. I'm looking forward to more fun activities in the future (and I hope to perform better next time hehe)!!

Week 4

I had so much fun this week! Our topic was about balancing equations (which is somewhat similar to doing Math) and I enjoyed it so much. I admit, I had some confusions at first but thank to Ma'am Carren's help, I eventually got the hang of it (thank you Ma'am!!).

Week 5

This week, we jumped into the topic of Stoichiometry. We identified how to calculate the formula mass and molar mass and such. All in all, it was an interesting week and I am looking forward to more.

Week 6

I am quite devastated since I didn't get to join the smore making activity this week, and I got sick TAT. I hope I don't have a hard time catching up with this week's lesson. All that aside, I'm excited to go back next week!!

Week 7

This week, we reviewed topics about stoichiometry. We also had a quiz bowl which was super fun, even though we didn't get to answer (Azman's group was so fast 😮). And lastly, we had our Long Quiz 1; which, in my opinion, I could've done better at. All things considered, I had a great time with everything we did this week and I'm looking forward to more enjoyable activities in the future!

Week 8

This week was our last week of discussion for the 1st Quarter 🥳🤩. We discussed the limiting reactants and redox reactions this week. These topics weren't that complicated since it was just like applying mathematics, but I still need to memorize the rules of assigning oxidation numbers. We also had a seatwork this week about redox reactions; in which my seatmate, Viena, and I had fun doing. As always, I enjoyed Chemistry this week.
