I have to take IELTS for university applications since I am a newcomer to Canada.

Although the requirements for most universities are 6.5 out of 9, I wish to score at least a 7 out of 9 or maybe even aim for 8.

I have been doing past papers and planning to enrich my speaking and writing skills through presentations and asking for my English teacher's guidiance.

One of my passions are Art and I always wanted to improve my art skills, especially at human anatomy.

I got a sketchbook for Christmas and I find it the perfect opportunity to practice my art skills. My goal is to finish the whole sketchbook this year by drawing at least one page per day.Although sometimes I didn't draw due to schoolwork, I always make sure to catch up some workload during holidays.

I have been playing the viola since grade 4. However I stopped my learning for a year when I moved to Canada due to not being able to find a teacher.

I resumed my learning this summer and I am trying to improve my playing skills by joining the Strings Orchestra at York Mills.I may attempt taking the RCM grade 8 exam this year if my skills allow me to.

I aspire to be a elementary teacher, so one of my goals is to get into Brock University as it is known for its education courses.

To prepare myself to get into my dream school, I had attended the Ontario Universities Fair and aqquired the information needed.

I also signed up for volunteering at the children's ministry at my local church and did co-op at an elementary school to gain teaching experience.

In school, I took psychology as it is a course taken during the first year of Brock.

I was born and raised in Hong Kong until I moved to Canada a year ago.

I hope to return to my home country someday and visit my friends and family, especially my grandparents.I have a close relationship with them as they raised me since I was a child. As my grandparents are getting into their eighties, I wish I can visit them as soon as possible, but I think it will have to wait until I am an adult and be independent with my finances.

I may be taking a minor course or do a double major course in university as it may be more helpful towards my future.

Currently I think my options would be English, Psychology or Literature since I am interested in Humanities.

I had taken Psychology already last semester and I will be taking more related courses in Grade 12 such as the writer's craft and studies in literature.

I will be graduating from teacher's collage at that time and I hope I could find a job in Toronto.

If not, I plan to find jobs in other provinces or I may return to Hong Kong since teachers are 'overpaid' according to my parents.I have been consulting my co - op teacher for career options.

It has been my dream since childhood to move out and have my own space.Although I know the prices in Toronto have been skyrocketing, my parents have been saving up my new year's and birthday money in a bank account and it would be a good start for my funding. I don't plan living in a house and would rather live in an apartment.I also don't mind whether I am buying or renting as long I can achieve this childhood dream of mine.

I hope to be financially stable during adulthood. That's why I took my friend's advice and chose Finance in order hoping to gain money management skills.I hope I could have a savings account prepared for unexpected expenses and retirement, also having a clear mind of managing my salary when I start working.
