Beginning

At first, we have to form a group to do the personal mission together. after we got the group, we start looking for the place for us to do the service.

after getting a place, we discuss about things we are going to do there, and submit the proposal, we also discuss about things we are going to bring there.

Day 1

On Monday, I came to the panti jompo pondok asih by my parents, I get there not with the others, because my house is near the panti jompo.

The first things we do there is fellowship. we do the fellowship for 1 hour and after we finish. We start cooking for the grandma lunch!. We cook porridge mixed with spinach and also boiled eggs.

after we finish cooking, Eca start feed the grandma with the porridge, but the other grandma didn't like porridge, so she ate other foods.

After finish eating, we wash the dishes and clean the kitchen. While waiting for us to get picked up, we do some sharing with the elders.

Day 2

On Tuesday, we started our fellowship for 1 and half hour. after finish fellowship, we cooked fried tempeh, steamed sweet potato, and also friend sweet potato.

While cooking, some of us were doing exercise with the grandma there. After the exercise finish, 1-2 person were talking with the grandma.

after all things finished, we clean the kitchen and go home.

Day 3

On Wednesday, our last day at panti jompo pondok asih, we do our fellowship like usual but this time we do more longer. were not cooking or do any activities.

We only talk with the owner, telling a story and also make a simple memory for them. after finish all things we say goodbye to them for welcoming us and accepted us for 3 days.

Day 4

On Thursday, we went to Woodlands Montessori school in west Jakarta. There are lots of special needs children. The first things we do there is excercise with them and also bonding with them.

after finish excercising, we went to the class and drink water, we go to the therapy room for them, and they play for about 30 minutes.

after therapy, the children is colouring and painting in the kite, after finish drawing and painting, they wash their hands, and eating snacks.

after snack time finish, we start doing planting, we take the pot, fill with rocks and soil, and put the plant inside the pot and fill it again with soil, and they will pour the water to their plant.

after all things were finished, its time for them to go home so, we take them to their parents.

Day 5

On Friday, Our last day in Woodlands Montessori School and also our last day of YiM. We excercise again with the children, after exercise, we went to the auditorium to prepare the yoga matreess.

after finish preparing, we go to the class again and take them to the auditorium. we do yoga for about 30 minutes. after yoga, its snack time, so they eat snack.

after eat snack, its sensory times, so they prepare a clay, playdoh, slime, etc. they play for about 30 minutes- 45 minutes.

After finish the slime and other things. We do pottery, its so fun, they make lots of things using their hands, after finish they go home and we forgot to take a picture with them, so we only take a photo with the teacher.
