Taxation is one thing, but the amount of taxes and tariffs imposed on us without consent all to fix the economic problems you have caused with the constant bickering with France have been the final straw. Although you and the parliament believe it is fair to impose things such as the stamp tax and the Townsend act it is blatantly disregarding any input we might have in running our colonies. Going as far as to limit how far we can expand through the proclamation of 1763, which as you might remember prohibits us from forming settlements beyond the Appalachian mountains, shows the imperial power you have become without thinking of how your actions affect the people of America. Nevertheless, we have still maintained control over our Indian and African settlements, from which we are able to extract significant sums of wealth. In some respects, our separation from the Americas has been beneficial, as we are no longer burdened by the incessant whining of undeserving British subjects. Our only reservations against the Americans is their newfound ally ship with the French.
