I sobbed so hard while reading this book- it was amazing. It was so amazing, I made my daughter read it, and then she loved it, too! This is a story about something we can all relate to: being different. The protagonist is a kid, Augie, who is deformed. For the first time in his life, his parents decide he should go to a real school. Of course, he is bullied, but he also learns he has some pretty great friends, too. An awesome read for EVERYONE!

Without a doubt, this book is one of my favorites of all time. Since I love history, this Holocaust novel captivated me from the first page. Bruno is a German nine year old boy growing up during World War II. His father is promoted to Commandant, and his family has to move near a concentration camp. This is the story of Bruno’s interactions with Schmuel, who is a Jewish boy captive in the camp. Although being on different sides of the war, the two boys become great friends. Read this book to see how two unlikely friends become true brothers.

This book is amazing! I read it the first time a few years ago and loved it. Then... I found out there is a trilogy. 100/5 stars! :)

Tanya along with her dog (Oberon) are sent to Tanya's grandmother's house (Elvesden Manner) because Tanya is seeing things, making strange noises, and walking on the ceiling. Her mom gets freaked out and mad. She tells Tanya to stop this behavior NOW or she must go to her grandmother's manner. Tanya doesn't enjoy her grandma or her grandma's house. It's full of them. But she can't control her actions... It's not her doing those things... She can't just ignore them...

Review By: Lily Dodge

To be honest, I never was interestind in Harry Potter. In fact, when my mom gave it to me on my birthday, I thought that I would never pick it up. But then one day, I decided to try it. This book is fantasy and is fun to read.

Harry Potter is just "an ordinary" boy who was as much as a mistake to the Dursley family. Little did he know that he was a powerful, young wizard that was well-known to wizards. As he conquers his first year at Hogwarts, a school for students whom are wizards, he not only makes friends and practices magic, but he faces a journey to keep the Sorcerer's stone safe from Voldemort. Read this now, and you will be forever in love with the Harry Potter books.

The Selection (and the series in general) By: Kiera Cass 5 out of 5 stars Review by: Jasmine Horrach

I realized after reading this book that I love books with princesses, princes, and happy-endings.

America was simply a Five. That number is a caste in her world. There are 8 castes in all. Any who live in the caste of One live in luxury and have plenty of food but have a lot of work in order to keep Illéa, the nation that America is in, somewhat together. The castes Two and Three also live their lives peacefully with much. But any castes under that struggle to survive or are not treated fairly. However, the Selection changed everything in America's life. Her "boyfriend", Aspen wanted America to at least try to get into the Selection so that it would help them in terms of money. And although the chance is slim, America got into the Selection along with 34 other girls to win Maxon's heart. At first, America always wanted to be with Aspen, but America found another that she did not expect she would be with. You have to read the book to understand. There are too many spoilers already so I'm done.

Review By: Bella Maldonado
All of my friends told me that this book was super boring, but I highly disagree. I Am Malala follows Malala through her life. You get to see a very interesting insight into a world speaker's life and origin. This book has its fair share of charisma, heartbreak, and intensity. If I were to rate this book, I would rate it a 4.5/5 stars. It does contain a bit of gore, but nothing too bad. Malala's life is very interesting, so why not read about it?

I loved this book it was really interesting, this is a dystopian novel. The book is about after a futuristic second civil war fought against abortion, they came to a compromise that parents can decide to have there kids unwound between the age 13-18 unwinding meant taking all there body parts and using them for later use. They claimed that since 100% of the body was taken out of it they are not actually killing them. This book might sound really gory but it is soooooooo good if you like a little futuristic and mystery. 4.5/5 stars

This was a fast read for me because it was so good. It's about a girl, who at 15 years old lost her eyesight in a car accident. She decides to wear blindfolds to cover her eyes every day, and gives advice to kids at her school. Since she can't see reactions, she says whatever she wants. She is also a runner, and practices running, but doesn't have a guide. There are also problems with her ex-boyfriend , and it's a whole big story that ties up in the end. I recommend to anyone who loves comedy, or anyone that needs a good book to read. 1,000,000/5 stars :)

This book was so good I couldn't put it down. I read it in english, during lunch, and after school.

The main character, Maisie Winters wakes up in the hospital not knowing what's going on.

The last thing she remembers is running through the hills of her neighborhood early on a foggy day. She puts the pieces together, and it turns out, before she could make it home, a storm gathered. Lightning hit a power line and the hot-burning electrical fire destroys her face. Where her nose, cheeks, and chin used to be, now there is…nothing.

Maisie’s lucky enough to qualify for a face transplant, a very rare procedure. Everyone says she’s lucky, but with someone else’s face staring back at her in the mirror with only scars to show it, Maisie feels, and looks, like a stranger.

This is an amazing novel and it has very good plot build and realistic reactions to big events. This book is amazing and I would recomend everyone that hasn't already read it to pick it up and start now.

5/5 stars

I meant to read this book last year, but never got around to it. I thought it wouldn't be that great, but once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. Davy Hamilton is a musical prodigy with a serious boyfriend and plenty of friends. Although, when she tests positive for "The Kill Gene" , everything changes.

Her boyfriend tries to be cool, but ends up ditching her anyway, her best friend reports her to the police getting her marked as dangerous and unfit to live in society. The only person who still believes in her is her brother after her school kicks her out and she is put with the other carriers.

A slowly building romance builds with Sean, but they get taken into custody by the government to be trained as killers. Davy didn't hurt anyone. Until she did. So what happens then?

I really loved this book, and it does have a sequel. I found that I like the first book much better on it's own, but the sequel is also a good read.

5/5 stars

Review by Lilly Kuiken

As a book about self discovery, it leads a young boy on a long journey to find what his true inner desire is. He goes on a series of adventures, from sheparding sheep to searching for treasure, stumbling upon strange yet helpful people and doubts that threaten to disturb his journey along the way.

Book(s) by Lisa McMann
Review by Anastasia Ledyaeva

Creativity is a crime... And Alex Stowe is now one of the criminals, sentenced to die on the Death Farm as an Unwanted. The catch? He's thirteen, and will die for expressing uniqueness... Or not?

I love with this book and the whole series, and yet it took me forever to write this cause I'm that one person who likes something so much they can't find words to express it.

The book follows Alex and his friends (and maybe even some eventual enemies) through their journeys of being Unwanteds so close a Wanted world, and -for those who like the idea of magical creatures- includes new creatures that haven't been featured in any books I know of. As I fellow reader, I recommend falling in love with the Squirrelicorns, Origami Dragons, and Simber the talking stone cheetah. ;)

The whole series includes magic, action, adventure, humor, a bit of romance, and etc., but still seems possible: so real that you feel as if you've been sucked into a good book -yet again- and are literally there, exploring this new world along with the main characters. Of course, there is drama, sadness, and shock as well, but if you're the emotional reader- just remember to bring some tissues along for the ride and you'll be just fine.

I think that every fantasy fan would like this, and my rating is a definite 5/5 stars.

Review by: Jasmine Horrach

I forgot how I came to love this book but it was amazing. There is a sequel to this book which is full of action, fantasy, and twists called Eona... which will make more sense once you read this. I don't want to say too many details so here is just a little bit.

Eon is a boy whom was trained by his master to fight. No one knows that Eon was really Eona, a girl, except herself of course. She had to keep that hidden though for there would be a great penalty for a woman to be there. She is a cripple and not many people like her.

There are 12 dragons in the realm the book takes place in. Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig, and Rat; all of them end with dragon, like Tiger Dragon. Eon was going to fight for the Rat Dragon to be an apprentice of Lord Ido. However, Dragon Dragon has not been woken up in 500 years for one reason. No one has been a girl. So, even though Eon failed his attempt at the Rat Dragon, he was greeted by the beast and given immense power. Eon was now Lord Eon. He was admired by a lot of people. With many journies ahead of him, including keeping his identity, Eon is faced by a crisis and possibly a relationship with the prince.

Review by Cindy Roemer

This is book is so funny and entertaining and is just the first book of a 6 book series!

The story follows a character named Cammie Morgan, who supposedly goes to a school for exeptional young woman. But most people don't know how exceptional they really are.

In Cammie's school they teach you how to kill a man with an uncooked noddle, they teach how to be fluent in 14 different languages, but most of all they teach you how to be a spy.

But on a practice mission outside of school walls, Cammie comes face to face with one of her most diffecult situations yet. A boy. But not just any boy, a normal boy! Who thinks she is a normal girl.

With the help of Cammie's 3 hilarious friends they work to conquer this almost impossible mission of trying to date a normal boy, while also trying not to get caught by government trained spy's.

Following the series you get to learn more and more about her school and how life isn't full of just fun nights sneaking out with boys.

This book is definitely a 5 out of 5 star book that I have read countless of times and think others should to.

But an enlightening experience between her love for Levi (her boyfriend). The reason I am recommending this amazing well written book is because, Rowell characters in this story are so well detailed, and have an amazing background story to go along with! If you love..romance, college life, and adventure, this is the book for you! As I was reading the parts with Levi and cath, I felt the chemistry, and such there passion for each other! Now don't worry if you don't like all the "lovey dovey stuff" there is plenty of amazing parts that have..jokes, and a sense of life! Also if you enjoy the first there is a second book!

The Ranger's Apprentice series is about a kingdom called Araluen and one of the sections (or Fiefs, as they're called in the book) is where the main character, a boy named Will, grows up. The baron of Redmond Fief is called Baron Arald and he is a really nice guy. He takes all of the kids who don't have parents and raises them until they are 15. Once they are 15, they are able to choose one of many professions. If none of the people who run these professions accepts them, they will go have a life on a farm. Will is 15 and is almost going to go off to the farms. But, Redmont's Ranger, Halt, gives Arald a piece of paper. What could it say? You'll find out if you read The Ranger's Apprentice.
I rate this book 10/10. It was some of the most fun I've had reading ever.
Review by Ravlin Frantz

This is the third book in the mortality doctorine trilogy. It's the conclusion. The first is The Eye Of Minds, then The Rule Of Thought. I have read all of them and would 10/10 recommend them. James Dashner is a wonderful writer that can transport you to a separate world of fiction and codling. The main plot of these books are a teen boy who lives in a utopian online world. He is a computer wiz. And his world gets flipped upside down one day after a meeting that he has with the head of online security. He finds out his true identity and fights some pretty sick battles. He discovers that a mortality doctorine exists and is helping to take over human bodies into coded humans. He works with his good friends Sarah and Bryson to save the worlds, the real and virtual. I would recommend this book to anyone who is fascinated in fictional books with technology.

Review by Maria Braun

I found this book to be very interesting because it's about a girl who has just moved to Jamestown (the new world). It includes tales of sickness, hunger and death. These tragic tales lead her and her family to so much hunger. She goes outside to walls to meet up with Pocahontas her friend. Her brother hasn't yet come to the new world. Read to find the answers to her problem solving and hopefully she can reunite with her twin brother and live happily ever after. 10/10
Review By: Leah Bottemiller

When I read the back of this book I thought, "Wow, this book sounds like one of those horrible, sappy, teeny-bopper books!" But, I read the inside cover and decided to check it out. This book was actually really good because it follows the main character, Audrey, through her troubles. The book starts with anxiety-ridden Audrey just being miserable. It follows her on her journey to get better. There is a sappy love interest but he actually made the story better. I don't want to say too much about it because I think you will enjoy it more if you don't know what is going to happen. If you think you'll enjoy a funny book about character developement, family chaos, and new perspectives, you should read this book. Even if you don't like any of those things, READ IT.
I hope you enjoyed my scatter-brained review. Thanks.
Review by: Laine Bottemiller

Tyler went through the struggles of what was right and what was wrong, of people bad mouthing him, his parents hating each other and him, friends turning on him, hatred thoughts toward himself and worst of all his struggle for his love of the most popular girl in school, Bethany Millbury. Anderson does a great job explaining Tyler's life and all of his struggles very clearly.

Rate: 5/5
Review by: Izzy McGill
Date 3/1/17

The Underneath is the story of an an old hound, who has been chained up outside of his hateful owner's shack deep in the woods. He befriends a mama cat and her kittens, and offers them safe haven under his porch. They will be safe there as long as they don't venture out from The Underneath, because the man, Gar Face, will use them for alligator bait if they do. Kittens are notoriously curious though, and when one of the kittens ventures out one day, a frightening and remarkable chain of events are set into motion. This story is one of my all time favorites, hope you enjoy!
Book review by: Maria Carlson
Rate:5/5
Date: march 8th 2017

Zookeeper by Gordon Korman is outlined so wonderfully! This is a lovely story of a group of kids on a mission. The main character Griffin Bing is always seeming to get in trouble and he is "the man with the plan". A girl named Savannah Drysdale LOVES animals and has about 20 of her own. One day her monkey Cleo got stolen and later her class went on a field trip to a floating zoo. At the zoo she saw a monkey that acted and looked exactly like Cleo. Is this monkey Cleo and if so can Griffin, her, and the gang save Cleo? I would rate this book 4.9 out of 5 stars because the author uses a lot of description and it always keeps you at the edge of your seat. READ THIS BOOK!

Book review by Sara Carlson

It has a little over 400 pages, but it goes by quick because you can't put it down! I think that readers will like this book if they like magic and adventure. "The After- Room" is about two teens, Janie and Benjamin, and they try to talk to Benjamin's dead father in a place called the After- Room. They have struggles and adventure along the way and I have loved all three of the books in this series. I give this book a 5 stars out of 5 stars.

Review by Sydney Harvego

At the beginning of the novel, Cole Matthews, a fifteen-year-old juvenile delinquent from Minneapolis, Minnesota, arrives on a barren island near the city of Drake in Southeastern Alaska in handcuffs. He is accompanied by two men of Tlingit Indian origin, named Edwin and Garvey, who are instructing him on the terms of his banishment to the island. In the first few chapters, we learn through flashbacks about why Cole has been sent to the island. After years of violence and trouble with the law, Cole took his criminal streak a step too far when he viciously beat a classmate of his named Peter Driscal onto the floor of his school sidewalk. Peter suffers head trauma, speech problems, and constant nightmares as consequences of Cole’s actions. Faced with the prospect of being tried as an adult and sent to prison, Cole is offered the path of Circle Justice to avoid prison by a corrections officer named Garvey. This program is of Native American origin and seeks healing of the criminal for reintroduction to society. Reluctantly, Cole agrees, and a series of “Circles” meet in order to decide his sentence. We learn that Cole’s alcoholic father physically abused Cole while he was growing up. The Circle, comprised of Garvey, Cole’s parents, Peter, Peter’s parents, and other community members, decides that by banishing Cole to a remote Alaskan island near Garvey’s ancestral hometown, they can both teach Cole a lesson and protect others from his wrath.

By:CE

As silly as that may sound from first glance, fret not - it's even sillier.

This book is filled to the brim with witty humor parodying off cliche horror movie scenarios and what to do to keep your brains intact.
There are pages guiding the reader through what song to play during a post-apocalyptic crisis, what not to do when hiding in a cupboard from the infection, and even tips on how to fight off a zombie with only a kazoo.
The moment I picked up this dictionary, I couldn't stop reading or laughing about how the writing constantly keeps making fun of horror movies, and using science to imagine how an actual apocalypse would play out realistically. (Turns out, it's much different from what one might expect.)

If you're looking for a good satirical read and pages covered with pop-culture references, this would definitely be right up your alley.

Every day, hundreds of children go to the trials. They are basically a bunch of logical, cognitive, and physical tests. Your score dictates your social value and what jobs / pay you receive when you grow up. A perfect score is 1500. Day, the main character, fails the trials with a measly 600. He is taken away from his family to be tested on in a lab but escapes in time. He starts living on the street when he find a girl of about 8 who also ran away from home. They become companions And help each other out. One day, on a routine check of his family, he sees that there door is marked with an oddly shaped "X". A normal "X" means that they have the plague, but this "X" has a line through the center, like a star. So, Day plans to rob a hospital to get plague cures, a commodity for the rich, to help his family out. It is about John's experiences and how you, whoever you happen to be, can never understand him- or his life. Do you ever feel like no one knows you? That's how John feels constantly. He only wishes he could be part of the Lashasa Palulu, a tribe that walks on their hands indoors. His whole world is a world that isn't a world. He has a teacher with four names beside her real name, a Tuba that's really a giant toad, a crush on girl named Glory Hallelujah, but that's not really her name, a school that's properly an anti-school with anti-classes because you never actually learn anything, and that's just the beginning. John is just like us, a confused boy in middle school trying to find his way through a war zone.

Review By: Lily Dodge
5/5 stars for being hilariously confusing and intensely relatable at the same time.

This historical-fiction book is so well done I just had to write a review on it. It's about a girl named Henrietta Spencer (or Etta as the book commonly uses this rather than the full name) living in Manhattan and aims to be a pro violinist, and hope to make her mother Rosa, who is very cryptic and doesn't talk much about Etta's early days, admire her. She's soon whisked away to 1716 on a ship with Sophia Ironwood, who tells her she's a traveler, and finds out she can travel time, and has to find an object her mother took before they keep her trapped in time for good. The one thing that stood out to me the most in this was how cryptic the time traveling was done the first time Etta does it. It also leaves you so confusing and curious and you just flip through the pages so fast, wanting to find out more. There's also a bit romance for those who prefer the sappiness that romance provides. This book is so cryptic and it leaves you wanting more and more. I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't get confused or frustrated so easily. 5/5 stars hand down!

Badro Ali

This book is a biography by Leon Leyson. I am not one for biographies but this one caught my eye. The book is about a Jewish family pushed around during World War II. The main character Leib Lejzon who goes by Leon Leyson is 15 years old and the youngest of five children. During the war his family gets separated and forced around. From his home to a ghetto to a concentration camp to a factory. But against all odds he is saved by a kind Nazi man, Oskar Schindler. Oskar Schindler owns the factory he works in and saves countless Jews even though he could be jailed or even executed. This novel is a sad and heartwarming story. I give the book a 5 out of 5 stars.
Review by Jenna Anderson

This book is in the point of view of a normal girl named Mare Barrow who lives a normal life. Her entire world is segregated between Red Bloods and Sliver Bloods. Slivers, according to Mare are amazing people with amazing abilities and act like gods of the world. Reds are just poor people who spend their life being normal. Mare hates this and believes Reds and Slivers should be treated equally. This story’s inciting indecent happens when her best friend, Kilorn loses his job and is being forced to join the army. Barrow, who spent her life stealing for her family, talks to a good acquaintance of her’s and secretly finds a way to ship herself and Kilorn away, but the price is too much for her. So Mare does what she does best, steals or at least is about to. Mare Barrow goes to a Sliver town and hears the Slivers talk about the group that is helping her and Kilorn. There she finds out she had lightning powers and the Slivers take her in to examine her. There they give her a new name, Mareena, and they betroth her to Prince Maven and his mom is Mare’s worst enemy. Sadly, Mare finds herself liking Maven’s brother Cal who would do anything to have Mare on his side, while Maven seems to enjoy helping Mare achieve equality or does he? And is Prince Cal, who is soon to be king, actually on the opposite side? I found this book very interesting and it’s not a plot I would normal read. I give it five stars for being so addictive and being a book that lures you in.

He wanted to be so many different things when he was growing up. At first he didn't even want to go to collage. I would recommend this book because its a great story of his life.

This is a Fantasy book about family. Anyone can be your family as long as they care about you. I actually met the author of this book! Every year in the Protectorate, the citizens sacrifice a baby to the supposed evil witch. But the witch is actually nice, she takes the children to the town across the forest. Feeding them starlight all the way. One year, the mother of the child fights to keep her daughter. The mom gets labeled as mad and is locked away. And that year, she gives the child moonlight instead of starlight and it infuses the girl with powers beyond anyone's control. The witch, Xan, names the kid Luna and raises her like her granddaughter. But as Luna grows up, her powers become wild and to keep them at bay, Xan must sacrifice herself when Luna turns 12. In the end, Luna finds her mom, defeats the Sorrow Eater controlling her village, and Xan, sadly, passes on. This book has such wonderful, likeable characters. It's an easy story to fall in love with.

Written by: Kelly Barnhill
Rating: 1,000 out of 5 satrs
Review by: Lauren Tilkes

Dirk Gently is one of the most hilarious books I have ever read. This is about a detective named Dirk Gently and Richard Macduff who work together to solve a case which involves time travel, a lost horse in a bath tub, a ghost from space, and a mysterious couch impossibly stuck in a staircase. Richard Macduff is accused of a crime in which he didn't commit, and leaves it up to the arguable efficiency of Dirk's Agency. The author, Douglas Adams, brings the end together perfectly in this difficult but lovely read. I was so surprised by the ending, and I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I read this book! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

By: Zoey Lovold
Author: Douglas Adams
Rating: 10/10 stars

This is the second book in the Dirk Gently series! The first thing I have to say is that the name is completely random, weird, and misleading, exactly what I would expect from Douglas Adams. A new case comes along for Mr. Gently to solve as his reluctant secretary goes missing and the airport explodes. The police have no idea what caused it, and so they call it an "act of god." Kate tries to find out about the mysterious whereabouts of the Nordic man in this funny and dazzling book. I would actually say that this book might just be better than the first! I didn't see that ending coming, it was a complete surprise! Please read and enjoy the second book in this odd series!

By: Zoey Lovold
Author: Douglas Adams
Rating: 11/10 stars

Jessica, Alexia, Peter, Luke, Danielle, Anna, and Jeffrey are an unlikely group that seems to have nothing in common. Then, when they are all put into the same class with Mr. Terupt as their teacher, things begin to slowly change. Something about Mr. Terupt is special, he always seems to know what to say. But, little did they know that it would soon be a tragedy to bring them the closest together. I enjoyed this book because you get to see many characters' point of view. Jacob's grandfather told him he had taken refuge on an island at an orphanage full of children with strange powers. As he became older, Jacob began to think that these were just stories until he finds his grandfather dead in the woods under unusual circumstances. Based on knowledge from his grandfather's stories, he begins to think that the stories were true. This leads him to go to the islands his grandfather had spoken of. There he finds that he orphanage and possibly even the children were real and that the children may still be living.

This book is a classic by Jane Austen. It was written in 1813. A common misconception about classics is that they are incredibly difficult to read but this book is quite easy to understand with its light humor and witty commentary. This book is about an incredibly independent girl named Elizabeth Bennet. She first finds herself in a situation where the handsome, fabulously wealthy, but disgustingly prideful and arrogant Mr. Darcy is in love with her. What happens next is one of literature’s most delightful romantic courtships. Pride and prejudice is not only a romance but a satire focusing on 1800 England’s social divides.
I would rate this book a 10/10
Author: Jane Austen
Reviewer: Roshni Konakanti Bugulu

This book is one of my favorite books because it always kept me at the tip of my toes and i never knew what would happen next. This book is about a girl named Delrita who has an uncle named Punky and Punky has down syndrome and a heart problem. Delrita moves with her parents and Punky to a town in Missouri. Delrita loves Punky but she is embarrassed of him and doesn't like to take him out in public. Delrita doesn't like having any friends over to her house after the incident that happened there with Punky. Delrita and Punky face many challenges including crushes, friends, family, letters, school, work and enemies. Both Punky and Delrita make some friends along the way. Delrita ends up making a friend in school but she is embarrassed about her family as well. This book made me feel mixed emotions from sadness to confusion.I really really love this book and i will never forget it.I am almost sure that if you read it you will fall in love with the story and characters as much as i did.
Author:June Rae Wood
Rating:5 out of 5 Stars
Reviewed by:Ashley Parra-Laurence

Cold Calls is a pretty good book. Three kids get calls saying that the person on the other side of the phone knows their secret. They must bully other kids and post a humiliating video of the victim. If Shelly, Eric, and Fatima don't, the caller will post their secret everywhere, for everyone to see. This book is great for people who love mysteries, and it keeps the reader on the seat of their chair throughout the whole book.

Author: Charles Benoit
Rating: 3/5
Reviewer: Kayla Sevlie

Katniss is a very independent woman who is forced into a game to the death. It keeps you on your toes the whole book and is probably the best book in the series. Katniss volunteers as tribute, gets put in the hunger games, and meets a forbidden love interest. As the tributes are killed off, the book gets even better. This is a MUST READ and I recommend this to everybody!

Author: Suzanne Collins
Review: 5/5
Reviewer: Kayla Sevlie

Looking For Alaska is probably another book on my Top 10 list. It has witty humor, sarcastic bits, and so much more. 'Pudge' goes to college away from home, not expecting much. Instead, he meets a girl named Alaska that pushes him to his limits and shatters them. He sees, does, and experiences so much more than he would have back at home. But PLOT TWIST! The whole book has numbers at the top of each paragraph. 100 days before. 95 days before. 74 days before. It all leads up to one huge event that, honestly, makes everyone cry. 😥 I highly recommend this book!

Author: John Green (who, let's be honest, brings witty and sarcastic humor to every book he writes)
Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Reviewer: Kayla Sevlie

After Nora drags Riley onto the Cyclone, Riley has a stroke and falls into a coma. Nora completely blames herself for everything that happened. When Nora waited for Riley to recover she mad a friend named, Jack. His brother has cancer and his parents aren't with them so Jack has to stay there at the hospital. Later in the book Jacks little brother passes away from cancer, and when Nora found out she was devastated, and also Jack did not tell her so she was mad. When Riley was in her coma she forgot how to do a lot of things but she also lost some of her memory and can only talk in "Spanglish" half Spanish and half English so it is hard for anyone to understand her. But eventually when Riley stated to recover she slowly started remembering more stuff. Then she remembered what Nora hoped she never would have remembered, that it was Nora's fault. Riley gets really mad and she does not talk to Nora for a long time.

Some Kind of Happiness is a book about a girl who goes to stay with her grandparents for the summer so her parents have some space to “work things out”. She really isn’t happy about it, but one thing turns out better than she could’ve hoped for, she’s found the real-life Everwood.

Review by: Rylie DeRusha

These books are amazing. They are definitely my favorite books ever. The first series is about a boy, Percy Jackson. He is a half-blood, half god-half human. He goes on quests with two of his best friends, Grover and Annabeth. The second series is... A little different. It starts out with different characters than the first series. It is about a boy named Jason. He doesn’t remember who he is, or anything really. He ”wakes up” on a bus full of kids about his age. Apparently, he has a girlfriend named Piper, and a best friend named Leo. Read the rest of the books to find out if Jason ever gets his memory back! The third series is about a god, Apollo. Something happens in the second series (which I won't spoil) that changes Apollo’s life. I hope you read these because they are amazing!

Rating: 100/5
